Please join IDA and activists worldwide to speak up for animals on November 23, 2012.
Fur Free Friday is the most widely attended annual demonstration in the history of the animal protection movement. It always occurs on the day after Thanksgiving, which is traditionally the busiest shopping day of the year. Fur Free Friday has become an institution for animal advocacy. Don't miss your opportunity to join with thousands of activists worldwide for this international day of action!
Only mindless zombies wear fur! This year IDA is asking activists to don zombie make up and fur coats (either donated or fake) to alert consumers to the horrors of the fur industry. If you would rather not be a zombie, fear not, we are also looking for nicely dressed activists to participate in this important day of action.
If you would like to organize your own event (zombie-themed or traditional), please let us know as soon as possible. We will post notice of your event online in order to alert other activists in your area. Our staff is here to offer guidance and to provide you with the materials you will need to take a stand against the fur industry. Our cut-off date for shipping materials internationally is Friday, November 2. Our cut-off date for shipping materials domestically is Friday, November 9. If you have missed these deadlines, you can print your own! The majority of our materials can be downloaded here.
Please e-mail Christy Griffin at Christy@idausa.org to get started. Let's make this the best Fur Free Friday yet!
